What is the procedure like to experience?

Restylane or Juvéderm will be injected into the deep layers of the skin or lips. The skin is “plumped” as the filler enters the tissues, causing creases and fine lines to fade and smooth. Injections can be performed as a sole procedure, or in conjunction with other age-related treatments such as BOTOX Cosmetic. Injections with one of the Juvéderm family of fillers, or with a product from the Restylane collection, take only about 30 minutes to perform at our boutique clinic, where you will relax in privacy and comfort. These injectables include a local anesthetic to make the experience more comfortable. The beautiful effect of the injections will be visible immediately. Most of our patients experience no side effects, or rarely minor bruising at the injection sites, which fades quickly. You are free to apply makeup without restrictions.

Planning to attend an important event?

To ensure you look your best at an event, gathering, or reunion, schedule your injections about one week in advance of the occasion. This allows time for any minor bruising to disappear and for the product to become integrated into your tissues.

How long will my results last?

Each product is different, with some fillers lasting up to 18 months and others lasting in the range of six months. Basically, the thicker the product, the longer it will last.

The thicker gels are injected to add volume at the cheeks, jawline, or chin. To maintain the results for as long as possible, avoid excessive sun exposure, stay hydrated, and keep your skin hydrated and moisturized.

Most of our patients schedule regular injections about three to four times each year to continue to enjoy a refreshed, healthy, youthful look.
